Is there a pickleball skill level requirement for your Trips?No, there it is not! Pickleball players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced level players.

I am a fit and active senior citizen. Can I join a Trip?Yes, of course! A lot our trips consist of players aged 55+! So no problem as long as you are physically active.

How many people will be on my Trip?We are a small group Trip company: maximum of 25 pickleball players for each trip. This allows us to spend quality time with each of our guests to help them improve their game.

How much pickleball will we be playing on a Trip?This varies from trip to trip, but on average we do 12 hours coaching + 3 hours of Tournaments and depending on the trip a 3-4 hours of Pickleball International Party

Will there be other singles/solo travelers?Yes, of Course! Generally, most of our trips consist of around 60% couples and 40% singles, both male and female.

How do I sign up for a Italy Pickleball Italy Trip?To sign up for a pickleball trip simply click on "book now" on the Trip web-page, fill-in the reservation request and we will send you all the information for the deposit payment. You can also pay the entire amount at the moment of the booking. You choose! Once you make the deposit you will receive the confirmation email of your spot on the pickleball trip. If you need any help signing up you can always contact us.

How do I pay for the Pickleball Italy Trip?- You can pay the full trip at the moment of the booking. - You can divide the whole price in three Payments: The 1st one when you book, The 2nd one 111 days before the Trip, The Final Payment 71 days before the pickleball Trip start date. - If the booking is made less than 70 days prior to the Trip start date Pickleball Trip Italy will charge the full amount at booking time.

What is included in the Pickle & Stay Option?With the Pickle & Stay option you will enjoy the pleasure of your Pickleball Italy Trip, with more freedom and at a lower price. At the same time you will participate to all the high quality Pickleball activities that we have planned. What is included with this option Hotel and morning breakfast All the Pickleball activities that will be carried out together with the All Inclusive group: 12+ hours clinics with our Head Coaches + Pickleball Tournaments and Competition Transportation to/from Airport Transportation to/from Pickleball courts (when needed)

Will I receive documentation when I book with Pickleball Italy Trip?Once a pickleball trip has been booked and deposited, Pickleball Italy Trips will send a confirmation of your reservation. Final Pickleball Trip documentation of your journey is sent after final payment is received.

Should I bring my own pickleball paddle?Most people will prefer to bring their own pickleball paddle. However, we will have also our pickleball paddles and you can play with while you are in Italy.

What are the accommodations like on Trips?Accommodations are at least 4-star Resort hotels (all of them are hand-picked wonderful Resort). In case you want to organize a private trip, you can request either more luxurious or budget-friendly options: we will understand the price and we will adjust everything accordingly.

What are my hotel room options during the Pickleball Trip?They can vary from trip to trip. We select only small & elegant handpicked Resort. Many of them are ancient Real Estate entirely restored and converted into Resort. For this reason, this Resorts are not like the Big-Chain Hotel (where the rooms are standard). The rooms come out in different types and dimensions, each one of them with its own peculiarities and unicity. Generally, you can find: - Double Room: Two people traveling together will share a room with a Italian king bed - Single Room: The single supplement option is perfect if you are traveling solo and prefer the privacy of your own room. - Shared Room: This option is not available for all our trips. If you are traveling solo, you can choose to share a room with another Trip member of the same gender, though there is no guarantee that someone will be available. If you’d prefer you may reserve a private room (paying the difference between the double room price and the single room price). - Superior rooms or Suites: this kind of room are available depending upon availability (both for Double use or Single use). You can choose the option you prefer in the moment you book the Trip.

Can I upgrade my room at our pickleball Trip hotel?Yes. A limited number of superior/deluxe/suites rooms are available. So you can upgrade your room if there is still availability. Travelers are responsible for any room upgrade expenses. Please, contact us if you want to upgrade your room.

Should I get travel insurance for the pickleball trip?We strongly encourage all travelers to invest in travel insurance to both minimize your financial risks of traveling and provide you with peace of mind to fully enjoy your trip. Travel insurance can provide many helpful resources including refunds or assistance for any of the following situations that may arise before or during a trip: - You need to cancel your participation on the Trip - You need to cancel or change a flight - Lost baggage during the trip - Stolen items during the trip - Medical costs during the trip If you would like to compare policies here are two well-known travel insurance providers to consider: Travelex Travel Insurance and Travel Guard. Do I need a passport and visa to visit Italy?If you are an American or Canadian citizen you need a valid passport. You do not need a travel visa. American Citizens who don’t already have a passport must apply in person at a designated passport facility such as a post office, public library, courthouse or other municipal building (please visit the Passport Facility Search page for your nearest location). For step-by-step instructions and to download a passport application, go to the State Department website. You’ll pay $135 and probably wait about 3-6 weeks (5-7 days after you apply, you can check the status of your passport application and its estimated arrival date through the State Department website). Canadian Citizens who don’t already have a passport should go to Passport Canada. IMPORTANT: Italy and other European countries will not allow you to enter the country unless your passport is valid for at least three months beyond the dates of your arrival. Therefore, be sure to confirm the expiration date of your passport well in advance of the Trip dates since getting a new passport can take few weeks.

What type of currency will I use in Italy?The local currency in Italy is Euros. If you’d like to get a small supply (for example 200 euros) before you leave home, ask your bank or auto club.

Do I need to bring traveler’s checks to Italy?Traveler’s checks are not necessary in Italy. With your ATM debit or credit cards you can take out euros from cash machines throughout Italy. Most businesses will accept credit cards. Check with your credit card company to find out if they charge you any fees to use the card outside of the US or Canada.

Which Airline do you suggest?The national airline in Italy is ITA Airways which offers flights throughout Italy and also international flights. All major carriers offer flights to Italy, including United and Air Canada, and Delta (part of Sky Team Alliance), American Airlines and British Airways (and much more)

Which Train lines do you suggest in Italy?The train operator in Italy is called TRENITALIA or ITALO. Italy has one of the best high-speed trains in the world, that connects all of the major cities of Italy.

Can you tell me something useful I could pack for the Italy Pickleball Trip?- A portable charger for longer tour days - Travel insurance — for this trip or any other trip you take! We do not have a specific recommendation for travel insurance; this is up to you. - 50 - 200 Euros to have on hand. We recommend withdrawing Euros from an ATM once you arrive. Euros will be useful for street souvenirs, cash-only shops, tips, etc.
